The 6.5 mm Cancellous Screw, Full Thread features deep, coarse threads along its entire length to achieve maximum thread engagement in porous metaphyseal bone. Unlike short-threaded lag screws, its fully threaded profile distributes fixation loads evenly across the bone without inducing active interfragmentary compression. Commonly used in large-fragment reconstructive and trauma procedures around the hip, knee, and tibia, it provides reliable holding power and stability, especially in osteoporotic bone.
