TRAUMA
The 2.4 mm Cortical Screw (Star, Self Tapping) features fine, densely spaced threads designed to achieve maximal mechanical hold in hard, compact cortical bone. Its self-tapping tip cuts its own thread path during insertion to streamline the surgical workflow, while the star-shaped (Torx) drive recess provides superior torque transfer and reduces the risk of stripping. Primarily used in small-bone procedures—such as hand, wrist, and foot fracture fixations—it ensures precise, low-profile, and dependable rigid stabilization.
